Female sterilisation
Sterilisation (also known as tubal ligation) is a permanent method of contraception. Surgery is done to close the fallopian tubes, so that no eggs can reach the womb. It's tricky to reverse, so only recommended if you are sure you do not want children.
If you're interested in sterilisation, speak to your GP for a referral.
