Condoms are the only method that prevents most STIs and HIV as well as pregnancy. They are easy to get hold of and easy to use. The most popular type is the external (male) condom, but internal (female) condoms are available too.

  • Under 25s can order free condoms online

  • You can buy condoms from pharmacies and high street chemists

  • You can pick up free condoms at a sexual health clinic

  • People age 13-24 can collect free condoms from places including:

    • youth centres - ask a youth worker

    • your school - speak to a school nurse or the safeguarding/pastoral team

    • your college - ask student support and wellbeing staff

    • University of Bristol and University West of England - ask the health centres, GP practices or student unions

A C-Card is no longer needed for collecting free condoms.
